Mongolian Yurt Easter 2013 markgoddard3958 (Mature couple, 1 review, 0 photos)
Liked: After being let down with our new engine for our campervan we decided we would still getaway for Easter and so late Wednesday we found this quirky little site that guess what allowed dogs and campfires!!! We were asked to call 1 hour before arrival and so when we arrived Jason and Tracy had kindly lit the fire in the yurt and it was so cosy even in these temperatures, we wanted to visit the local pub and Jason kindly rang the pub as he was worried they would be closing as it was good Friday and as they had closed he offered to drop us and the dog to another pub. On Sunday we ate at the five dials which was amazing the best Sunday roast we have both tasted and huge!! The facilities are so clean and well maintained and we just loved the barn with its great kitchen area and we even had free tea, coffee and milk left at our disposal. I am 47 and still loved the trampoline. This place is easy going and doesn't overload the senses with do's and dont's that every other site seems to have - I know it's hard these days with our nanny culture but these guys have it right. Thanks for a great few days and we wish you all the best and we will be telling all our friends.Sharon, Mark and Finn the border x Disliked: Nothing |

Relaxing, peaceful, perfect annapollock (Young couple, 1 review, 0 photos)
Liked: My husband and I booked last minute for a weekend getaway from the city and we were not disappointed. The farm is set in a peaceful, rural area which allowed us to unwind while watching an incredible pink susnset from the porch of the yurt. The yurt itself was spacious and comfortable with a wood burning stove which warmed us all night. We particulary enjoyed meeting the owners and their gorgeous dogs! On Sunday we drove 30 mins to Lyme Regis for a walk on the beach. It was a perfect weekend and we are hoping to go back soon to try Big Red! Disliked: The time went too fast! |

Amazing, relaxing and highly recommended! Amber (Young couple, 1 review, 0 photos)
Liked: We’ve stayed at Holly Farm twice now and absolutely love the place! Both times have been truly memorable, made even more special by the owners Jason and Tracy who are lovely and very easy going. Our first visit was for two nights staying in the yurt. The weather was amazing so we mostly relaxed outside (on the comfortable loungers) soaking up the sun in the day and then sitting out with the campfire, staring at the stars at night (which are so bright with the limited light pollution). Our second visit was again to stay in the yurt but this time we bought friends that stayed in Big Red (they loved it). We weren’t so lucky with the weather this time but had an equally magical visit, sitting in the yurt with all the lanterns lit, the log burner going and playing games all night. Brilliant, welcoming, peaceful and charming katieruthjenkins (With friends, 1 review, 0 photos)
Liked: We stayed in Big Red and friends stayed in the yurt. We had a cracking weekend. Delighted by Big Red, the best thing was throwing open the front in the morning and relaxing in bed in the fresh air with the country view. Great facilities, glamping as it should be done. Not far from River Cottage for breaky if you don't fancy cooking, spent a pleasant afternoon in Beer. Got some lovely great value pottery from Tracy's workshop to boot! Disliked: Didn't dislike anything. |

Liked: We loved how welcoming Tracy and Jason were throughout our whole stay, although Somerset seems to be a quite place to go there are plenty of things to see and do. Disliked: There wasn’t much we didn’t like if we needed any thing like loo roll or a bread knife it was quickly done, which was great! |

Myself and my husband came to stay at Holly Farm Holidays over the easter weekend. We decided to book Big Red which is a converted railway carriage and to be honest I'm not really sure what I was expecting having never stayed in a railway carriage before. suzy-keadell (Young couple, 1 review, 0 photos)
