Liked: Everything!!! We spent a week on Boswarthen farm near Madron in Cornwall, run by Adrian and Madeleine Nicholls, and we are now counting the days before we can go back! We arrived on a bit of a chilly day, and ferried our luggage to our tent using the wheelbarrows provided. Upon opening up the front door of what would be our home for the week, we discovered a spotlessly clean, wonderfully equipped and beautifully designed interior - complete with everything we would need for cooking, entertainment and deep sleeps under feather duvets!
Within minutes of arriving Madeleine had popped over and greeted us in what we came to discover was her perpetual cheery way - everything was explained and once we had unpacked, and lit the wood-burning stove, we settled down to a wonderful BBQ of meat and fish organised ahead of time by Madeleine, along with a great birthday dessert which she had also arranged for us.
The next morning we awoke to find fresh milk and eggs - collected from the farm's chickens - delivered to our tent, and zipped up our 'front door' to reveal an incredible view of the sea which had not been visible the night before.
The week flew by, filled with trips to St Ives with its many art galleries ice cream parlours and fish and chips, stunning walks along the Cornish Coast, trips to the beach, BBQs, fish restaurants, shows at the nearby Minack theatre - carved out of a cliff face, and on our final night a wonderful bonfire organised by our incredible hosts.
I cannot recommend Boswarthen farm highly enough. Aside from the beautiful location, family friendly farm (with so much to do for children), and great locally sourced food, what makes this places really special is the family who run it - Madeleine and Adrian were the perfect hosts - friendly but not intrusive, full of fun, and incredibly helpful when it came to directions, advice, weather forecasts, phone chargers and anything else we needed!
The week flew by, but we felt so removed from the normal rush of our everyday lives that we felt we'd been away for weeks!
Man thanks! We will be back next year!

Disliked: Honestly, I cant think of a thing to complain about - there are even things to do when its raining!
