Liked: I have been going to Strandhill with my parents since I was a small child. It's like home from home for me.
Now I'm taking my own family to it, and the kids enjoy it very much.
The people are friendly, there are two great pubs and a lovely restaurant. If you're lucky enough to get to the seaweed baths, that's an added bonus.
It's a perfect spot for surfers, not the best beach for paddling.
I can't compliment Strandhill enough = it's a great spot & I have made some great friends on my stays there.

Disliked: Toilet and shower facilities have hardly changed in all the years I've been going there. I would love to see them renovated - it would make such a difference.
