Liked: From the moment we arrived, till we left the family could'nt have been more helpful.
The site is at a small farm in the Peak District, it has excellent facilities and is great as a base for hiking in the Peaks, the local market town of Bakewell is nearby, and Chatsworth House is close too!
We stayed over Easter weekend and the site was bustling, so a good job we had booked our pitch in advance.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our weekend at Middlehills Farm, and look forward to visiting them again this year!

Disliked: There really was'nt a lot to dislike about Middlehills Farm or the hosts, as you can see from my ratings below!

Liked: Great setting,we stayed in the top field, lots of people but never felt crowded.Campfires allowed in firepits and bags of logs available at nearby farm for only £2.50,good facilities and shop onsite for any bits you've forgotten run by a very lovely couple. It was our first visit but have already planned to go back in a few weeks. For those with kids , there's a fab adventure playground on site ( and an ice cream van which comes around late afternoon! Very nice pub just 400 yards away too.Owners very friendly and helpful.

Disliked: Only downside was that the portaloos in the top field became quite rank after around 7pm , but no biggie as the toilet block is only about 50 yards further down and was always clean.
