Friendliness and helpfulness of reception staff facilities clean

Attitude of bar restaurant staff to many other nationalities including English and Dutch where ignoring in favour of the Spanish was the order of the day other nationalities have said the same thing Pitch placements were not. Adhered too some were pitched well over the marker points nothing was said we put up a small porch awning in the space we were left with only return to all the other sites furniture on our side facilities and pool look good and as a stop over for a few days but not 10 days as we did

Spotlessly maintained site with first rate facilities. Green and lush, quiet but busier/noiser when lots of families arrive on Friday for the weekend. Would happily return. BTW, excellent staff, professional and friendly.

Nothing

It has three pools - a large unheated, smaller heated and a children's paddling pool. The showers and toilets were kept immaculately clean, and there was lots of hot water for showers. During the week, the site is very peaceful. We rode our bikes into Comillas, which is a lovely little town with a house designed by Gaudi abd a few nice shops. The beach is big and not overcrowded.

The atmosphere changes completely at the weekend. It's more like a holiday camp. It was impossible to swim in any of the pools as children were jumping in. It was also very noisy.

Chosen as an overnight before catching ferry back to UK. Met that need perfectly. Site very tidy and touring pitches away from those permanently sited (which were rather packed in). In high season touring pitches could be tight too and some were on quite a slope so levelling blocks required. Toilet/shower facilities were spotless as was washing up area. Lovely swimming pools both indoors and outdoors. Site in a lovely area, worth spending more than one night there.

Access to pitches. Most on a slope and had a kerb from the road, A lot of permanently sited vans so in high season site could be very busy and children’s play area is in the touring section,

It was extremely clean, the bathrooms and showers all brand new. Peaceful. Both heated and unheated swimming pools. Wide pitches in natural rocky environment. On Camino - walking distance from Comillas.
Enjoyed the woodpeckers and robins.

Starting with a very friendly and (thank God), English-speaking receptionist; She showed us a map of the site, informed us that we had just the one neighbour, so go ahead and pick your own pitch! Brilliant! We camped in a tree-lined double road, easy to navigate, unhitch and set-up. Electric and all services worked absolutely perfectly, 100 yards to the immaculate shower and toilets set-up and the two pools
(very, very clean and presentable), and one of them covered for little kids. 150 yards to reception and the cafe/restaurant, serving good beer and food at reasonable prices and from very helpful and amenable staff.
This site is situated very close by to the beach at Oyambre, where there are excellent bars and restaurants. We had a Sunday lunch Paella and wine and beer here (as at El Helguero) 4.5 Euros.
Comillas is even nearer, with great bars and a lovely Port and Beach, also a great fish restaurant over the quay with fantastic food and great value.
If you are touring in this area, this is for me, highly recommended.

At first this site looked a bit ordinary, a large amount of the site is dedicated to local (seasonal) pitches, although this is in a separate area than the touring site. It didn't seem to be what it said on the site, but, as the week went on (20th April 2023), and the sun and the locals came out, it turned out to be a great experience. It was a bit quiet in the week, but come Friday night and the site filled up, the vibe raced upwards, and by Saturday, the whole place was buzzing.

So overall, nothing to dislike really. Well done, a great little site

Swimming pools were immaculately clean, indoor heatedand outdoor unheated, both open in late March. Bathrooms also cleaned several times per day, lovely hot showers. Staff very friendly. Beautiful countryside around, we had several good cycle trips.

The main utilities block was very nice.
Very pleasant well maintained site, plenty of trees and nice grass pitches.
Indoor and outdoor swimming pools - looks like recently upgraded.
Nice restaurant with good reasonably priced food.
Short drive to Comillas a pleasant town with a quaint fishing harbour and lots of places to eat.
A good site to take children.
Short drive from lovely clean sandy beaches with clear blue sea and good surf.
Within a short drive from the Picos de Europa National Park with spectacular scenery and 6000 -7000 foot peaks.
Twin axles accepted.
Plenty of walking and nature reserves close by.
Approximately 40 km from Santander so good place to stay at beginning and end of holiday.

A second utilities block is a little tired.
