Over the past few years, Loopallu has rapidly become 'the' place for festival-goers to have their final fling of the summer, with rave reviews from visitors and the media alike.
There's no guaranteeing the weather, but what you will get are idyllic views and a great line-up of bands at this little festival that really punches above its weight. Previous headliners include Paolo Nutini, Franz Ferdinand, the Levellers and the Magic Numbers, all attracted by the lively fishing village venue, set against a backdrop of mountains with the loch lapping just yards away.
Once the main action in the Big Top is over, you can party the night away at one of the many fringe gigs on offer in the local pubs, just a few minutes stagger from the Loopallu site.
Loopallu is child-friendly, and kids under 12 go free. All this, plus fantastic local ale and what The Scotsman describes as 'the classiest festival food ever seen'. What’s not to like?
