Pretty much every British actor and comedian you've ever heard of has done a stint at the Fringe. It's the largest arts festival on the planet, featuring tens of thousands of performances: a whopping three weeks' worth of theatre, comedy, dance, magic, musicals, operas, live music, exhibitions and events.
Expect everything from classic Shakespeare to brand new plays on their first run, raucous cabaret and burlesque, comedy performances from the likes of Al Murray, Ed Byrne or Phil Jupitus, and dancers aged nine months to 83 years - plus some unique venues, from train carriages to toilets!
