Μου άρεσε: Great welcome on arrival, really friendly owner. Well maintained pitches, facilities second to none. Toilet and shower block, pristine with plenty of hot water.

Δεν μου άρεσε: The shower timer could do with being a little longer (very minor point).

Μου άρεσε: Everything! Second time visiting and not the last next year we will be staying longer. Owners are the nicest people and make your feel so welcomed. The site is most probably the cleanest well kept site we have ever stayed on. The lake is a brilliant added extra to do some fishing when back on the campsite my 10 year old son loves it and is never bored. Hardly any noise from the A road just a hum of traffic that goes silent during the night no cars revving or beeping horns just passing traffic, of a morning it didn’t wake us up the birds did and we were the closest to the road so no issue if it’s a problem camping is most probably not for you. Lovely pub down the road nice food and atmosphere always feel welcome and dog friendly. Also great location to local beaches. If you like a peaceful, restful camping trip then you are looking at the perfect site! No Wi-Fi or phone signal for us but to be honest that was brilliant as you get to really enjoy your time away and not on your phone all day you get to take it all in and really enjoy your stay :) See you next year x

Μου άρεσε: We were greeted with enthusiasm and a friendly face at reception. Everything was explained really well. It was a special trip as my Grandmother used to own the establishment in the early 80s and I’d not ever visited since I was around 6 months old, so it was sentimental to take my 6 year old daughter there. The grounds are lovely and quiet, and it’s perfect for families. We will be making this stay a new tradition.

Μου άρεσε: What a great campsite, so many positives it’s hard to know where to start. Lots of space on the campsite, lots of green space in front of pitch with room for children to play. Only 30 or so pitches so very quiet campsite. Toilets and shower block immaculately clean and very modern fit out. Didn’t use laundry but sufficient for small numbers. The owners are absolutely lovely, nothing was too much trouble, made sure we settled in and always a friendly hello. Wetsuit cleaning shower and hanging area. Really hard to think of anything we didn’t have.

Δεν μου άρεσε: This is minor, to get to the bus stop does involve a walk along a busy road (will probably ease when A30 roundabout improvements complete), so if walking with very small children may be a bit of an issue. We managed ok (children 10 and 8)
