Local attractions

The world-famed Alpe-Adria-Trail, so stunninly scenic that it's known as the Garden of Eden, passes alongside Camp Liza on its meander through Austria, Italy and Slovenia. If you're not fably fortunate enough to be doing the full 750 kilometres, tackle one its 20-kilometre sections instead, such as from nearby Bovec to the mountain village of Kobarid. If you're up for even headier times than merely hiking, biking, kayaking or whitewater rafting in the region, paragliding, sky diving and sightseeing flights are all available locally; ask the Camp Liza team to book your sky high session. Caving, climbing and via ferrata treks are also nearby to get stuck into, or you could try mountain scootering, paintballing or zorbing – or take it a little easier with horse riding, golf or fly fishing: the team can book the lot.
