A gorgeous pool in a gorgeous location: Glamping Resort Orlando in Chianti is in Tuscany's vineyard-filled Chianti wine region, a short drive from the cycling, hiking, deer and reindeer of the Natural Park of Cavriglia, and in a sweet spot between Florence, Siena and Arezzo. (And as for the pool? Its handsome setting also includes a paddling pool, water toys, a sunbathing area – and a hot tub.) Have a look at the site pics to see the splendid setting of this friendly and family-friendly park, a place of resident llamas, heaps of space, family activities in the summer season, and well-maintained, colourful grounds on which to bask under the sun or lounge about under the shade. The site also has a playground, a sunny bar-restaurant and pizzeria with terrace, and a well-stocked shop selling local meats, groceries, wine and freshly baked bread. Bikes can be hired at reception, where you can also book hiking and biking tours around this green and vineyardy land.

Liked: Consigliamo questo splendido glamping a tutti coloro che vogliono passare dei momenti di relax, tra natura, piscina e tranquillità. Glamping super attrezzato per i bambini, si possono fare tantissime attività anche grazie all’animazione. Tutto ottimo dalla location, pulizia, staff e cibo. Siamo stati veramente bene torneremo sicuramente!

Liked: Erg vriendelijk ontvangst, nette camping met een Nederlandse twist qua aankleding. Geen typische Italiaanse camping. Alles zag er keurig uit, leuke voorzieningen, lekker zwembad en alles keurig netjes. Sanitair wat verouderd, maar prima te doen. Leuke accomodaties op het terrein, trekkershutjes, boomhut-tenten en oude schoolbussen.

Disliked: Camping ligt erg afgelegen van alles. Voor een verblijf met kinderen heel erg goed te doen, veel animatie. Voor ons niet echt van toepassing. Geen WiFi bij de staplaats beschikbaar, alleen bij restaurant.

Electric gravel and earth pitch (XL)

Liked: Wer einen Stellplatz sucht, mitten im Wald, der ist hier richtig! Dort ist Natur pur und Ruhe, wer Ruhe haben will. Wir durften uns den Stellplatz aussuchen. Toiletten und Duschen zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber immer sauber. Keine fünf Minuten ist das Restaurant und der Pool entfernt. Oberhalb der Anlage ist ein Weingut, wo auch Wein probiert werden kann.

Disliked: Die Zufahrt ist wirklich schwierig und unser Tipp wäre, den Stellplatz von Lornano aus anzufahren, da ist die Strecke nicht ganz so schwierig. Die Auffahrt ist auf nicht asphaltiert, nur Kiesel, starke Kurven und ziemliche Schlaglöcher.

Liked: Poollandschaft; Wandermöglichkeiten (nur mit Wege-App zu empfehlen); Natur pur Laden gut ausgestattet

Disliked: Wir wollten zum Urlaubsstart Ruhe, hatten aber leider einen Platz direkt neben der Animation, die sehr laut und lange ist. Alles in allem ist der Platz eher etwas für Familien mit kleinen Kindern (Platz bietet eine Menge für die Kids).
