If you're a footie fan, shoot along to AC Milan's and Inter Milan's San Siro Stadium a mere three kilometres away. Città di Milano has plenty of swish stuff on site, such as a petting zoo to wow the kids, a sauna to revive weary grownups, a playground, and sports areas including a basketball court, volleyball court and table tennis. Bikes and scooters are available for hire. Foodwise, there's a restaurant/pizzeria, a bar and a mini market, along with barbecue and picnic areas, all in scenic surrounds. Camping Village Città di Milano guests can get discounted entry to the Acquatica Park waterpark 200 metres away, or hire bikes on site to check out the cycle paths (and lake) in Boscoincittà park within an easy kilometre. AC Milan and Inter Milan's San Siro Stadium is three kilometres away. The Milan South Agricultural Park, 10 kilometres away, is a top spot for walking, cycling and sailing, in a scenic setting that's also home to 12th-century Chiaravalle Abbey, where several works of Italian art are housed, including a fresco by Giovan Battista della Rovere and Giovan Mauro. The many attractions and sights of Milan will need as many days as you can manage: among the city highlights are the Brera, Milan Cathedral, Sforza Castle and the Santa Maria delle Grazie convent, housing da Vinci's The Last Supper. If you have time, also get along to the Villa Necchi Campiglio museum, in an excellent purpose-built house hidden among Milan's busy centre. For day trips, Pavia and Bergamo are both 50 kilometres away.
