We offer a relaxed and informal camping experience in our orchard at Lower Porthamel Organic Farm in the beautiful Wye valley. Enjoy our nature trail through the farm's fields, down the abandoned old mid-Wales railway line and along the banks of the river Llynfi which is home to otters, badgers, British crayfish and kingfishers. In the evening, relax by a campfire with a bootle of wine and enjoy the sunset over the hills.
Our facilities include hot showers, family/disabled washroom and washing up area. We also have wifi available. Firewood is available from our son at the house. We aslo have free range eggs for sale.
As well as providing for families we also cater for larger groups which is situated away from the main campsite.

It was excellent value for money. Disliked: There was a group of very noisy famiilies (adults and children) who kept us awake into the night, the downside of the relaxed nature of the site. |
