This unique farm park is a new camping and caravanning site run by Mr Lyn Jenkins and Mrs Ellen Jenkins adjacent to their popular Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park tourist attraction. We are stunningly located on a scenic headland, overlooking the nature reserve of Cardigan Island just 200 yards offshore and clearly viewable from the park.

Cardigan Island is home to thousands of nesting sea-birds. It also has a flock of wild Soay sheep, originally from the Isle of Soay, south of Skye, Scotland.

A colony of Atlantic grey seals breed in the many caves below the farm park cliffs and can be seen virtually every day. Cardigan Bay's bottlenose dolphins are frequent visitors to the waters surrounding the park, particularly during calm weather, when they swim closer to the shore. They can be viewed clearly from the park.

There are a variety of friendly farm animals here including pigs, sheep, goats, rare breed cattle, ponies, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks, geese and Dilwyn the donkey. There are also llamas, rheas, emus and wallabies from far-off lands.

There is also an outdoor adventure playground and sand-pit for the children to enjoy.

Tractor and trailer rides run from near the entrance to the seal view-point, every day, noon to 5pm, from the spring bank holiday to September 30th, apart from Saturdays. There is a small extra charge for the rides.

Family run, child friendly site, access to seal centre and animals every day and views to die for. After a disaster with the tent on the first day we came back two days later and loved it. Our 6 yr old grand-daughter didn't want to leave.......

Liked: Views to die for.....

Child Friendly, great play area

Lots of local walks and beaches

No club....a like because we wanted a nice peaceful camping holiday and if we wanted all the mod cons we could have gone to Butlins or a hotel!!!

Disliked: Could do with local shop selling milk, bread etc. then you wouldn't have to leave!

Liked: what we enjoyed about our stay:

* location and views, cannot be beaten

* peaceful and quiet

* excellent local sign posting

* very reasonably priced

* lots for children to see and do

we also noted:

* showers and loos clean, loo paper supplied, fast hand dryer (i would advise campers to take own soap to the loos, as you would to the shower)

* visitor centre and cafe open daytime hours, but never intended to supply campers with food and ...

Disliked: not 'disliked' but thought the following could be easily improved:

* insufficient loos and showers; queues noted, although site not yet full

* no screening of loos from camping field, so night time travellers are 'fully illuminated' as they enter and leave, would also act as windbreak for insulation

* very difficult gate to open and shut leading to loos from our field, other gate had pedestrian access

* no hose from drinking water tap, so filling any larger ...

Cleanliness of site and facilities.
Friendly staff.
Very quiet.
My Grandsons will love it on our next visit. which is booked for the bank holiday.

Disliked: Farm Park was in need of upgrading and fencing, benches etc were very worn requiring new, although this was run down we had it included in the price so all in all it was a bonus.

Liked: Location beaches, restaurants and shops a short drive and central for exploring the west coast
Views and wildlife
Price (with access to the park each day included)
Staff are very friendly and helpful
Dog friendly (both the campsite and wildlife park)
Late access to the wildlife park
Cafe

Disliked: No real dislikes.
They have new showers and toilets but they are limited. We had no trouble accessing them (about 15 pitches taken)but it may be an issue if it was very busy.
