This unique farm park is a new camping and caravanning site run by Mr Lyn Jenkins and Mrs Ellen Jenkins adjacent to their popular Cardigan Island Coastal Farm Park tourist attraction. We are stunningly located on a scenic headland, overlooking the nature reserve of Cardigan Island just 200 yards offshore and clearly viewable from the park.
Cardigan Island is home to thousands of nesting sea-birds. It also has a flock of wild Soay sheep, originally from the Isle of Soay, south of Skye, Scotland.
A colony of Atlantic grey seals breed in the many caves below the farm park cliffs and can be seen virtually every day. Cardigan Bay's bottlenose dolphins are frequent visitors to the waters surrounding the park, particularly during calm weather, when they swim closer to the shore. They can be viewed clearly from the park.
There are a variety of friendly farm animals here including pigs, sheep, goats, rare breed cattle, ponies, chickens, rabbits, guinea pigs, ducks, geese and Dilwyn the donkey. There are also llamas, rheas, emus and wallabies from far-off lands.
There is also an outdoor adventure playground and sand-pit for the children to enjoy.
Tractor and trailer rides run from near the entrance to the seal view-point, every day, noon to 5pm, from the spring bank holiday to September 30th, apart from Saturdays. There is a small extra charge for the rides.
