Adult-only Wernddu first opened its caravan park in 1976: it was very small and basic, with only 12 pitches. In 1980 more pitches were added and a new shower block was built. Today there are over 60 pitches, the majority of which are hardstanding; all have their own individual electric hook-up points, water supply and grey water waste.
At Wernddu Campsite we host a wide range of features to keep you entertained throughout your stay such as half-price green fees, private fishing on our pond, use of the driving range, nine-hole pitch and putt course. You will also have use of the club house on site which is open from 8am to 11pm: hot food will be available from 11am to 3pm.
We also offer simple home commodities such as privacy cubicles containing toilet, shower and wash hand basin. Male and female vanity areas complete with mirrors, plug points for hair dryers and shaving points are also available. In addition we offer undercover washing-up areas to clean your pots and pans, a laundry room room with washing machine and tumble dryer (coin metered).

Nice location, quiet, relaxing, well maintained site Julie T. (With friends, 1 review, 0 photos) Confirmed ?
Liked: Adults only site so absolute bliss during the day, and was nice and tranquil in the evening. Just a few people sat around their bbq's and talking amongst themselves. Heating in the shower block and water for showers and washing up nice and hot. Dogs allowed, have laundry facilities, and they have a club house on site for drinks (and food a couple of nights a week). Disliked: Camping area was next to the road, but it wasn't a problem at all as hardly any traffic. |

Well kept pitches. Friendly staff. Very quiet Val S. (Mature couple, 1 review, 0 photos) Confirmed ?
Liked: The toilet and shower facilities were very good, clean and spacious. We were on a grass pitch, and it was large with plenty of room and fully serviced. Site was very quiet - may have helped that it is an Adult only site. Although we didn't use the golf club facilities, I am sure they were good, with a bar and food available - even a take away menu. Disliked: I can't think of anything I didn't like |

Liked: Open, airy, nice people. If you get there after the golf club has closed (like we did), follow signs for the golf club, then go past the signs saying 'private, no public right of way' etc. Hopefully this will save you going round the block looking for another way in like we did :-) I've given full marks for child friendliness because it seems a bit harsh to mark it down for something they specifically ... Disliked: Nothing - all good, but see notes about access above. |
