Liked: we realy enjoyed the peace and quiet, a spot of fishing at the lake, and a few beers in the evening. what more could you want ....Bliss

Liked: A very unique golf club.
Not your typical surly and clicky golf clubhouse atmosphere that you so often find. The members are very welcoming and don't seem to mind sharing their clubhouse with campers and visitors. The staff are always very friendly and the food and drink are reasonably priced.

A perfect place to camp, just a short distance from the town centre but still quietly tucked away in a beautiful countryside setting.

Disliked: No fault of the campsite but the crows are most unwelcome as early as 4:30am.

The one minor criticism would be the price of the pitch and putt is maybe a bit expensive considering the course. For bigger groups and families it's not cheap for a quick 9 holes.

Liked: Everything about it, it was in a pleasent setting, well maintained and very clean

Liked: Adults only site so absolute bliss during the day, and was nice and tranquil in the evening. Just a few people sat around their bbq's and talking amongst themselves. Heating in the shower block and water for showers and washing up nice and hot. Dogs allowed, have laundry facilities, and they have a club house on site for drinks (and food a couple of nights a week).

Disliked: Camping area was next to the road, but it wasn't a problem at all as hardly any traffic.
Wasn't the most picturesque site in terms of surrounding views I would say, and not many walks in immediate area from campsite. You would want a car if you stayed here to get around.

Liked: The toilet and shower facilities were very good, clean and spacious. We were on a grass pitch, and it was large with plenty of room and fully serviced. Site was very quiet - may have helped that it is an Adult only site. Although we didn't use the golf club facilities, I am sure they were good, with a bar and food available - even a take away menu.

Disliked: I can't think of anything I didn't like

Liked: Open, airy, nice people. If you get there after the golf club has closed (like we did), follow signs for the golf club, then go past the signs saying 'private, no public right of way' etc. Hopefully this will save you going round the block looking for another way in like we did :-) I've given full marks for child friendliness because it seems a bit harsh to mark it down for something they specifically ...

Liked: Good pitch with hardstanding, electric hookup, water and drainage facilities.
Adult only site which was good.
Well maintained shower block with washing/drying facilities and drainage for portaloo.
Friendly staff - welcomed on arrival, made welcome in the golf clubhouse in an evening - even with the dog. Locals very friendly.
Oscar our Lab enjoyed the attention and especially the offerings of cheese!

Liked: flat pitches with water and electricity supply to each.
Plenty of room and the site was well kept.
Pleasant staff at check in although there was some confusion as to wheather I had paid in advance, I believe the to be a communication problem. It was quickly sorted out.
The site is quiet and only a mile from the town centre.
We didn't use the club house so I cannot comment.
