Cwm Tawel Yurts
FavouriteCwm Tawel site is based in a secluded farm valley. We have not overdeveloped the site for camping use in order to leave a rustic feeling with grass paths and wooded areas; in places the terrain is uneven so please make sure all members of your party are aware of this and wear suitable footwear.
We offer glamping style yurt holidays for weekend and midweek breaks.
We have an undercover firepit and cob pizza oven in our round house.
State of the art compost toilets and hot showers are also available to all our guests.
For cooking meals, there is also a fully-furnished indoor kitchen and a wood-burning Rayburn - or you can build your own outside campfire.
Nearby attractions and activities
We are located 20 minutes from the beautiful Glamorgan Heritage Coast with beaches ideal for surfing such as Restbay, Porthcawl.
Within a short distance you can also visit the Ogmore castle ruins.
Only 35 minutes from Cardiff or Swansea, Cwm Tawel is surrounded by mountain walks and a short drive from Afon Valley Cycle routes, which offers some of the best mountain bike trails in the world.
