Dolaucothi Estate Caravan Site is nestled in a tranquil woodland setting within 100 metres of the River Cothi. Masses of wild flowers and birds are right on your doorstep; you might even see an otter from the riverside walks.
The site is owned by the National Trust and run by Volunteer Wardens. There are 38 pitches, ten of which are hard standing. Water and electric hook ups and waste disposal points are provided but you will need your own sanitation.
There are wonderful walks throughout the area, up in the hills and along the riverside. The Dolaucothi Estate is a Site of Special Scientific Interest, for its plants and wildlife and for its archaeology. The parkland in the valley and the upland farmland is home to a wide variety of plant and wildlife and there are fantastic views wherever you go.
