Our camping and touring fields are situated on a headland offering unrivalled views over the Red Wharf Estuary towards the Victorian town of Llandudno with its distinctive ‘Great Orme’ cliff top in the distance. There are spectacular views of the East Coast of Anglesey where you can watch the boats sail by from the comfort of your caravan. We have a private beach, children's play area and great rock pools for crabbing!

We have 100 soft standing coastal pitches here at St David’s Park, all serviced with electricity and aerial points as well as benefiting from easy access to water and waste disposal points.

Our large modern amenity block comprises both ladies and gents facilities together with a dishwashing area, chemical toilet disposal point, disabled shower room and family bathroom with corner bath. It has been built to the highest standards with free power showers, underfloor heating, hairdryers and baby changing facilities. These facilities are at no additional charge.

Also on site we have a shop, laundrette and our own gastropub The Tavern 1924...serving fresh local produce....absolutely delicious!

Liked: I haven't camped since a terrible teenaged experience, so I approached the weekend with some trepidation. It was completely unwarranted. Friendly staff upon arrival lent us an extension lead for our very own power point! Our tent had a sea view. The toilet / shower / bath(!) block was close to the tent and very well maintained. There was a lovely children's play area and as for the beach ... It was heaven for all of ...

Disliked: Our tent leaked. Not the park's fault.

Liked: Lovely scenery and nice beach. The Park is well maintained and clean.

Disliked: Not much facilities in the park. It's alright to stay for a few days. A week will be too long.

Directions

Get directions

From the A55 Expressway Westbound, take junction 8, the exit for the A5025, signposted Benllech & Amlwch.

Follow this road for one mile, and go straight across the roundabout (Four Crosses pub on Left).

Carry on passing the VW/Audi Garage on the right and go through the village of Pentraeth. Upon leaving the 40mph zone on the way out of the village, you will notice one of our signposts to your left just as you approach a sharp lefthand bend. You will then see a turning on your right signposted Red Wharf Bay. Turn right here and follow the road which runs parallel with the main road you have just turned off.

When you see the disused hotel ahead to your right go straight on, rather than following the road to your left. This leads you onto a country road. After approximately ¼ of a mile you will see the sign for St David’s Park and the Tavern 1924 on your left. Go through the gateposts and follow our private road to the end.
