Gweryd Lakes offers a traditional campsite with 30 pitches – 5 with 5 amp hook up capable of running lights and fridges. The pitches are divided between two areas beside Llyn Gweryd and Llyn Ewan. All the pitches are well spaced and have beautiful views. There is space for up to 5 motor homes.
There are both standard and solar heated showers (there is no extra charge for shower use), toilets, wash up and laundry facilities. Fresh water points are located around the site.
We can also accommodate large groups e.g. Duke of Edinburgh in a large hayfield yet still close to facilities. This area is more noise tolerant but no loud music please.
Remember we do have Hideaways Café on site, which can also provide a take away service as well if you don’t fancy cooking every day. The Tackle Shop also sells basic necessities, camping accessories and outdoor clothing. Within one mile there is Llanarmon-yn-Ial village shop and the Raven Inn. Our local community run pub, which also offers evening meals. A wide choice of supermarkets is available in Ruthin and Mold, which are both 7 miles distant.
