Liked: We were given a comprehensive set of instructions over email following our booking confirmation. We didn’t use the site to its full potential but what we did use/ see was excellent! The toilet/ shower facilities were really well kept and lovely and warm. The pub on site was very welcoming (we didn’t eat but the food looked amazing too), and is a great feature for the site. We’ll definitely be booking again

Liked: I visited Castle Cary Holiday Park on 7th of April 2024, the Lady at the reception called me to ask if I was going to be there before 1500 as they were finishing due to being a Sunday. I was running late so I said no, she explained everything over the phone to me and was really nice and happy. I got there and due to it being windy I had to move location so emailed the lady back and advised them of this. They were so accommodating and nice. The Security Guard let me borrow his extension so I could have Electricity to my new spot. Thank you Duncan. The Staff were so nice and went out there way for everyone. The restaurant meal and service was 1st class. The toilets and showers were a 1 min walk from the electrical tent site and cleaned everyday. The cleaning lady was so nice as well. Overall a great site.
Disliked: Opening times for the arcades should be longer and the pool should be heated.

Liked: Site was nice an quite, toilets were clean and freshly painted.
Disliked: Site had a 2hr power cut but nobody came to let us know. We were told by someone staying in a static caravan. Shop was only open a few hours and you couldn't get milk or bread. Unfortunately we had rain every day so couldn't use the outdoor games.

Fully-serviced hardstanding and grass pitch
Liked: Beautiful campsite, with plenty to explore inside the estate and out. The pitches were the best we’ve used in our trip, every motorhome pitch is level and gravelled, also fully serviced. Amazing facilities with great toilet/shower blocks (heated and with great showers), some big enough for families (making it easier with young kids). They have a mini shop with food essentials, sweets, games, and plenty of activities from poops to mini golf available. The castle is beautiful and the pub seems great too (although we didn’t use it). Beautiful fields for walks and playing with the kids. We’ll definitely return.
Disliked: Waste bins overflowing everywhere, they should get them emptied more often. Cleaning in the toilet blocks should be more often too, as there is a lot of mud around, it gets really nasty.

Liked: We had a great time here. The children loved the park and loved the animals/wildlife that were around to see. Toilets/showers were clean and modern. Friendly staff
Disliked: The indoor pool water was very cold. Unfortunately, our daughter is allergic to cold so couldn’t stay in longer than a few minutes but other than this we had a great few days away.
