Liked: The accesibility to the Mournes and the Panoramic view. Cafe.

Disliked: The amenities are rundown and insanitary. The camp site itself is little more than two large fields littered with rubbish and pockmarked by old campfires and and even pits dug for campfires. Two groups of young people partying ...

Total disappointment

(Family with young children, 1 review, 0 photos)

  • Stayed Aug 2010 Review submitted
  • Stayed in: Tent pitches
  • Would not recommend to friends
  • Would not visit again

Liked: I liked the scenery - it was beautiful.

Disliked: The fact that it was advertised as family only, which in fact was not true. A group of young men had pitched tents and drank alcohol all night while talking loudly and playing music. This prevented all the families and young children from getting any sleep. We had booked in for two nights and only stayed for one. We went home totally exhausted.
