Liked: Friendly staff, well kept country park, lake with good facilities, I have stayed many times and always had hassle free enjoyable experience. The wildlife is literally all around you one of the few places you are likely to see Red Squirrel. I use the campsite as a base for exploring the Mournes, the only word of warning I would give is that to do this you must have your own vehicle to get out to ... Disliked: Didn't actually dislike anything. |

Liked: the scenary and overall relaxed feel of castlewellan is fantastic. Stayed here for 10 days and am going back again next week, value is great and found everyone very friendly Disliked: The showers and toilets need cleaned more often or updated. |

Liked: The scenery was beautiful! There is a small lake right in front of you that you could walk all the way around in about an hour. Beautiful castle on the grounds. Disliked: Shower/toilets facilities could be updated. |
