Middlewick Farm is set in 16 acres at the base of Glastonbury Tor. The complex also has an indoor swimming pool, steam room, children's petting farm, outdoor barbeque area and outdoor pizza oven.

We have two E-den Camping Cabins which feature a full-size double bed in a snug glamping cabin with deck to front and awning. Prices include crisp white bedding and fluffy white towels. In true camping style, and for peace and tranquillity there are no TVs in our E-dens. Each E-den has its own private shower room for added luxury, a barbecue (guests to provide their own fuel for BBQ) and use of washing facilities for the dishes! Alternatively bring your own camping stove. All cooking must be done outside of the E-dens.

The view from each cabin is up towards Glastonbury Tor: a special location and view.

Nearby attractions and activities

A short walk brings you into the town of Glastonbury where there is something for everyone to enjoy. There are the historical ruins of the Glastonbury Abbey, the beauty and mystery of the Chalice Well, the numerous magic and crystal shops and plenty of restaurants and cafes with Somerset treats. Four miles away you will find the smallest city in Britain - Wells. Wookey Hole, Cheddar Gorge, and stunning Somerset Levels are all a short drive from Middlewick.

Liked: So what is glamping? Consider for a moment a cross-breed of camping, comfort and luxury and you will find yourself barking up the right tree.

Whilst touring the country we recently paid a visit to dog friendly Middlewick Holiday Cottages in Glastonbury to stay in one of their e-den glamping cabins.

The attraction of staying in an e-den, rather than a traditional tent, started before we left the house. Normally camping involves military planning or ...

Disliked: Nothing!

Liked: Loved the farm - very peaceful, well kept and relaxing. Loved the animals wandering around and we were visited by the dogs, cats, chickens and goats! Spotlessly clean and very comfortable with everything you need. Private bathroom add a lovely touch. Used the swimming pool and steam room while we were there and enjoyed this experience too!

Disliked: Doesn't seem fair to put anything negative really, but Eve is very close to the apple tree which means loads of insects every time you walk to the bathroom which wasn't nice and when apples fell off the tree onto the E-den in the middle of the night we got the fright of our lives!

I had an excellent stay in one of the Edens. The building was gorgeous!! You will definitely have pictures to show your friends at home, of the Eden, the Tor, the friendly animals, and the beautiful English countryside surrounding the charming cottages

Liked: We have been to Middlewick 5 Times now and love the peace and tranquility of the complex which is why this was our 5th time there.

The Edens are a really nice addition glad Jill and Jonathan have added a Glamping element to Middlewick.

The Eden we stayed in was called Eve and had a nice amount of space but most of all is cosy and warm and nicely presented with a fridge which is ...

Disliked: Nothing Loved it all :)
