Cheddar Bridge is a picturesque campsite in a riverside setting with luxury heated facilities. We are located within close walking distance to the historic village of Cheddar, its amenities and leisure centre, the spectacular Cheddar Gorge and Caves and the Mendip Hills.

The River Yeo passes through the caravan site.

Enjoy the wonderful view of the Mendip Hills from the park, which is part of a Roman, Anglo-Saxon and Norman Ancient Monument. Cheddar Bridge is a high quality central touring base for Wells, Bath, Bristol, Weston-Super-Mare, Wookey Hole, Glastonbury, Street, Somerset Levels and villages.

Our site is exclusively for adults (over 18) and offers an alternative to family sites away from ball games and bikes.

All our caravans are modern, fully fitted and come complete with all bedding.

Beautiful but VERY NOISY

  • Stayed Mar 2012 Review submitted

Liked: Gyspsie Wagon was beautiful to look at, with its own private area (flowers, river, a little bridge that is lit up on the evening). Toilets and Showers are clean. Close to Cheddar.

Disliked: Very noisy, main road right next to the caravan, too loud to sleep (went home early).
