Gundrys Farm is a quiet family run campsite with 60 spacious pitches each with electric hookup, around the edges of two large, level and well drained fields.

We are lucky to be adjacant to Moors Valley Country Park which is literally 15 mins off road walk or cycle ride. We have on site showers and modern toilets, chemical disposal points, water and hot water washing up areas.

There is plenty of room for relaxing - it's quiet, calm and the site is teeming with wildlife. We have our own pet flock of Poll Dorset Sheep, children and adults are welcome to assist in feeding - especially at lambing times.

The site is suitable for caravans, motorhomes, campers and tents.

Liked: ...the fact that not actually being a holidaymaker but someone who needed some time away from Absolute Neighbours from Hell - so I could retain my sanity...(U have no idea) ... Yet I was shown such empathy from Lorraine & Baz the owners,...
I LIKED* ...that I cannot say enough about them & my 3 nights at Gundrys farm without feeling a little overwhelmed with emotion (yup I'm a wuss).
At first I thought I was being ...

Disliked: ...The fact I couldn't stay longer!

Liked: The weather was not in our favour but the location was great and we walked to a near by pub which was really lovely. There was lots of space and the site has a really friendly feeling about it with lambs which we visited on several occasions. I was also impressed by how clean it was.

Disliked: No complaints about the site atall

Liked: Well kept friendly site, toilets showers all fine.
We only had a small tent so £12 / night ok.

A 3 mile drive one way would find a Morrisons and a nice pub, in the other direction it was 5 miles to a Tesco and a Wetherspoon

Disliked: nothing on the site, not much around the site, nearest shop 10 mins walk to a news agent, 10-15 mins the other way to a quite nice but 50%overpriced pub restaurant.

If you had a slightly bigger tent and say 3 children the bill would be more than double, if you had someone visit for the day you would pay for each guest, car, etc.

From the manager...

we are what is 'says on the tin', a quiet, rural farm campsite with spacious pitches and well maintained facilities in terms of showers, toiilets and washing up areas. Its such a shame these customers didnt engage with other campers or visit our tourist information in reception. There are plenty of things to do locally-enough to suit all tastes, we have a list of pubs offering good value food and probably most important - we have so much information on Moors Valley Country Park - 15 mins walk from the campsite, golfing, fishing, walking, cycling, nature trails, go ape - the list is endless.

Liked: country park walk nearby, nice pub in walking distance down the road called 'The Three legged Cross', room to have car next to tent & didn't feel crammed in. children were about but was still enjoyable/ peaceful. Campsite manager let a friend park her car in the yard for a short time whilst went to country park - very kind.

Disliked: A bit unclear if reception was open/ you were allowed to go in & look at leaflets when unmanned - door was open when it wasn't manned then someone rushed out & I felt as though I shouldn't have been in reception.

Liked: small campsite with owners on situ, site was level, grass beautifully maintained, plenty of room for cars, with vans and tents around the edge of the fields.
small shower block with toilets, owners kept this absolutely spotless.
walking distance to Moors valley country park and a garden centre which did great breakfasts and cream teas !

Disliked: we didnt dislike anything, site was fabulous and we shall be gonig back many times.
