Beachside Holiday Park is a 5 star static caravan park situated on a terraced slope above the beach with a captivating view of Hele Bay so that every caravan has a sea view. The beach is just a few dozen paces from your door with private access from the park itself via steps or alternatively there is sloping access from the street below. The many flower beds and traditional stonewalls provide an attractive environment and with no bar or clubhouse Beachside is an idyllic tranquil park to relax and enjoy your break away.

Beachside Holiday Park has a range of one and two bedroom caravan holiday homes for hire, sleeping up to six people. Hele Bay is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and has many walks with stunning views.

From your accommodation you can watch the ever-changing sea, the passing boats, an occasional seal or cormorant and often a buzzard or peregrine falcon. At night you can see the stars undimmed by city lights and be lulled to sleep by the waves lapping gently on the beach.

Why not bring your four legged friend on holiday with you as well? Beachside is a pet friendly park and we have a number of caravans that we allow well behaved, house trained dogs into. We do request that when on the park dogs are on a lead at all times and should not be left unattended.

Hele Beach is a dog friendly beach, and in order to maintain Hele’s unique dog friendly policy, please keep your dogs under control and clear up after them. If possible please avoid taking your dog on the beach at busy times - there are plenty of walks near by.

The park consistently accomplishes high standards of customer comfort and cleanliness and is part of an independent group of professionally managed parks, so you can be sure of a personal, friendly and efficient service at all times.

You will always be assured of a warm welcome and with laundry facilities, a payphone and a wide selection of tourist information leaflets, maps and brochures you’ll find everything you need to make the most of your stay.

Adjacent to the park there is a cafe overlooking the bay, within a few hundred yards there are two family orientated and dog friendly public houses, a petrol station/ convenience store and the Old Corn Mill Pottery and tea room. Within five minutes of the park there is an 18 hole golf course, an indoor swimming pool, playing fields with pitch & putt, a small children’s playground, haunted Chambercombe Manor and the historic Victorian town of Ilfracombe, full of things to do for the whole family.

Fabulous location, lovely accommodation & excellent customer service! We spent a 3-night break here, with our 2 children & loved every minute! The beach below the caravan park is so unspoilt and the views from the caravan were breath-taking!

Liked: Everything!

The site is not spoilt by a club house/arcade. There are a couple of pubs/restaurants just outside the site, along with a petrol station & shop, so there's everything you need!

The views are amazing, especially if you get an 'Ocean Edge' caravan - you feel like you are literally out at sea when the tide comes in - a real experience! The sound of the waves rolling in has the most relaxing effect ...

Disliked: It's not really a dislike, more of a piece of advice really....the coastal walk to Ilfracombe harbour is amazing, however we made the massive mistake of taking the pushchair! Needless to say, we were exhausted carrying it (with child inside), up the extremely steep slopes & steps! It was a bit of an adventure though, so no worries!

Maybe a small children's play area would be a good idea - but NO ARCADE!!!

Liked: We love this place, its safe and wonderful for familys. The beach is everthing young children want, from rock pools to sand.. The caravans are well kept and very clean .. Nothing is to much trouble for the staff.. Beautiful coastal walks to ilfracombe and combe martin.. If you want a site with a club house and arcades, loud bars this is not for you, but for familys and people who want a rest and lovely ...

Liked: We spent one night at Beachside on a backpacking trip, and we were quite tempted to linger for a day or two more. The location is lovely, in between sand dunes and the beach, and in September the site was quiet and peaceful.
Showers and loos were in good order, and there is a range of accommodation available, from brick-and-mortar cottages through more basic chalets right down to tent pitches. The welcome was friendly, and ...

Disliked: Slight drawback I found as a camper was the sound of roaring surf from the beach all night, so take ear plugs if you're a light sleeper!
Slightly pricy.
