St Mabyn Holiday Park
FavouriteThere's no better place to take a break than St Mabyn Holiday Park in Cornwall where you can enjoy idyllic touring or self-catering holidays away from the hustle and bustle of normal everyday life.
Spacious and relaxed, the park has been extensively improved and is now carefully maintained by the Lloyd family. There are 110 level pitches, 90 with 16-amp electricity, on well drained and well mown grass with 50 hardstandings. The park offers touring holidays for caravans and motorhomes, camping holidays for trailer tents and tents, and has extra large pitches for motorhomes, including US RVs and 5th wheelers. We also offer self-catering holidays.
St Mabyn is a home from home with our luxurious individual shower rooms, campers' kitchen with microwave, fridge and freezer and laundry.
Order your breakfast bread and croissants or a pasty and sausage rolls for supper. Or let the kids take a swim in our heated, sheltered outdoor pool - it's surrounded by a sheltered, paved and grass sunbathing areas so you can relax too. There's a good, fenced adventure play area with a play area for small children, plus a games room. Wifi is also available.
There is no bar although the local village inn has a good reputation for food.
Nearby attractions and activities
The beaches of north Cornwall and the wilds of Bodmin Moor are all an easy drive from the site.
We are within easy reach of the popular Camel Trail (just 2.5 miles away), Cornwall’s most popular free attraction. This isn’t a road or a path but a stretch of converted railway ideal for walking, jogging or cycling. The Camel Trail winds its way through some of England’s most beautiful and relatively unknown coastal scenery and countryside. There are 11 miles of disused railway beside the River Camel that have been converted from the rail track bed to trail way, thus linking the towns of Padstow, Wadebridge and Bodmin.
An offshoot of the trail follows the river through north Cornwall's rugged moorland village landscapes and idyllic wooded valleys, towards the picturesque market town of Camelford. The hub of the Camel Trail can be found at Wadebridge and from here there are two possibilities. One is to head west and follow the trail to Padstow.
The Eden Project - this well known visitor centre loved by children and adults alike, is a short drive away.
Port Isaac - Better known today as Port Wenn and the location of the popular ITV series Doc Martin, Port Isaac remains an unspoilt, pretty fishing village and is less than 10 miles away from us.
Cycling - follow the Camel Trail from Helland, just 2.5 miles from St Mabyn Holiday Park, to Padstow.
Walking - hike across the Moors or visit Golitha Falls. Follow the coastal paths for breathtaking views.
Swimming, surfing and sailing - from beautiful beaches such as Rock, Polzeath, Daymer Bay and Bude.
Pony trekking - at St Breward.
Fishing - in the rivers or sea.
Golf – nearest 18 hole golf course is at St Kew.

Directions
We are approximately four miles from Wadebridge and 6.5 miles from Bodmin.
Satnav users, please be careful when relying on your device to direct you to St Mabyn Holiday Park from the A30. Some systems will attempt to bring their owners down a very small road, over Helland Bridge which is on a bend, very narrow and has a weight limit! The satnav may also try to bring you through Blisland which is also not recommended! We recommend keeping to the main roads and use one of the following ways to reach us:
From Bodmin takethe A389 to Wadebridge. After approx 1.5 miles turn right to Camelford on B3266. Drive for about five miles and take the second turning to St Mabyn village. St Mabyn Holiday Park is 400m on the right.
