Roselands Caravan and Camping Park
FavouriteRoselands Caravan and Camping Park, based only five miles from Land's End, is a traditional four-star family-run park with resident owners who bring a happy, relaxed and friendly approach. Developed to a very high standard and situated six miles from Penzance, it is a select development of 15 modern caravans and dedicated pitches for tourers, motorhomes and campers.
Set in pleasant grounds with displays of shrubs and flowers, the park is surrounded by hundreds of acres of typical Cornish countryside yet is only a few minutes' drive of many picturesque beaches, coves, places of interest and recreational facilities - golf, climbing, horse riding, cycling, swimming to name just a few. Our site is dog friends and there are plenty of great dog walking opportunities all around.
A haven for ramblers and bird watchers, the park has no organised entertainment but is a quiet, clean and friendly place to stay. Spring arrives earlier than in other parts of Britain, and is a unique time for enjoying spectacular displays of wild flowers colouring the countryside. Take advantage of low-season prices in spring and autumn as the summer climate can continue until late October in Cornwall.
Cape Cornwall, the second most westerly point of Cornwall, is a few miles away and the Isles of Scilly can be seen from Roselands. The Carneuny Stone Age village is five minutes' drive and St Michael's Mount is in Penzanze. The South West Coast Path is nearby with one of the most acclaimed surf beaches in the UK, and Sennen Cove is a five-minute drive.
Nearby attractions and activities
The climate is mild due to the warming effects of the Gulf Stream - palm trees are relatively common in the gardens of south and west Cornwall and sub-tropical plants can be seen growing quite happily around the county. The moderating influence of the sea also means that Cornish winters are rarely severe and hot summer days are often cooled by gentle sea breezes.
