This small family run South-East Cornwall site provides space for 5 pitches on a well kept gently sloping grass site, which is surrounded by open fields. It is situated some 5 miles away from the historic town of Launceston and near to the village of Treburley, just off the A388.
The site has unobstructed views of Bodmin Moor, Dartmoor and the nearby country park of Kit Hill. It is ideally situated for those who are seeking a quiet relaxing site with easy access to both the South and North Cornish coasts and also nearby attractions of West Devon.
The site is only 35 minutes drive away from the Ferry in Plymouth, perfect for a stop over before departing or arriving from France & Spain.
Little Wenfork Campsite - Facilities
A purpose built building provides a toilet, washhand basin, free electric shower and a dedicated washing up sink with hot and cold water.
A chemical disposal point, together with dedicated water supply is located outside this building.
Fresh water is provided via an external standpipe. Campers are encouraged to recycle their waste into the separate, paper, plastic/tins, and general waste bins provided.
Also available on site are Fresh Eggs from our own Chickens & Ducks.
Little Wenfork Campsite - Activities
The Campsite provides a peaceful location where the views of both Dartmoor and Bodmin Moor can be admired. Based in an area of outstanding natural beauty, the Tamar Valley, the Campsite is an excellent base to explore the various attractions such as Morwellham Quay, Cotehele Estate, Sailing, Fishing & Boat trips along the River Tamar. Visitors can walk along the country lanes and take in the surrounding countryside, directly from the campsite.
The Nationally acclaimed Duchy College specialising in agriculture and sports is only two miles away. The campsite is ideally situated for this venue.
A good bus service is available from Treburley (0.5 miles walk), to Callington and Plymouth in the south, Launceston and Bude to the north.
Callington in an ancient market town with a famous mural trail under the shadow of Kit Hill, a Country Park, in an area of outstanding natural beauty. Callington Town website.
Launceston is the ancient capital and gateway to Cornwall, with its Castle (National Heritage). The town has a good selection of local shops, supported by easily accessable car parking. Launceston Town website.
Local Markets and businesses produce and use a wide range of local produce such as Yarg Cheese, Cornish Pasties, Beef and Sea food.
The local public house, 'The Springer Spaniel' is only 1/2 a miles walk away down a lovely single track Cornish lane. They serve very good food made from local produce together with a wide selection of real ales, wines and spirits. The Springer Spaniel Pub.

Charges are on a per pitch basis, with a maximum of 5 people permitted to stay on each pitch at any one time.
Prices are charged at £10 per night.

From Launceston take the A388 Callington Rd for 5 miles. At Treburley opposite the Spinger Spaniel Public House take the first lane on the Left Hand side towards Rezare. Site on the Right Hand side after 0.5 miles, Caravan and Camping Club sign posted.
From Saltash A38, take the A388 to Callington - (10 miles), Travel through Callington towards Launceston until you get to Treburley (5 miles). Take the 2nd turning on the Right Hand side, opposite the Springer Spaniel Public House, towards Rezare. Site on the Right Hand side after 0.5 miles, Caravan and Camping Club sign posted.
