Tamar lake farm is situated close to the north devon /cornish border offering a quiet peacfull location set some 100 meters back off a country lane . The camping fields are well sheltered and in main surrounded by mature hedges, wild flowers and trees. The Toilets and showers and dish washing facilities are a short walk up through the gardens.

We are within walking distance of the Tamar lakes which provide fishing a cycle trail and water activities together with many opportunities for bird watching. The village of kilkhampton offers food, drinking and local shopping , if you drive a little further there are attractions such as Clovelly , Milky way ( childrens play center ) Duckpool and sandymouth beaches. The coastal town of Bude is some seven miles and offers three beaches,surfing, swimming pools, tennis , golf , bowles and other entertainments . If you just like peacefull walks the coastal path offers everything .
