Stubcroft Farm Campsite is a secluded, environmentally friendly site on a working sheep farm, close to some of the South Coasts best sandy beaches & dunes. It is a family friendly campsite suitable for couples, families & responsible groups. The peaceful private lanes and grounds surrounding the farm makes it an ideal holiday for families & couples wishing to escape the pressures of modern city life. The nearby Victorian farmhouse B&B welcomes those visitors who would like to accompany friends & relatives on the campsite but prefer comfortable beds and a delicious home-cooked breakfast!
We pride ourselves on a friendly & welcoming atmosphere at Stubcroft. We are a family run working farm and there are always seasonal farming events from lambing & shearing to haymaking & harvest. Guests are welcome to see the sheep & lambs in season and walk along the private farm lanes. We are a sustainable, eco friendly, working family farm & the campsite is run in keeping with that ethos. Campers can purchase our own honey, free range eggs & much more in our campsite shop.
The campsite is set across five secluded level paddocks surrounded by wildlife conservation hedges & trees planted for shelter & privacy. There is a wealth of wildlife on the farm with over 72 species of birds identified, deer, hedgehogs, rare butterflies, foxes, rabbits & much more. It has a relaxed & informal style (some say quaint & old fashioned!) and we have a simple philosophy, that all campers respect each other and the environment. We hope you enjoy your stay with us as many other guests have over the past years.

Fantastic long weekend michele-game (Extended family, 1 review, 0 photos)
Liked: The owners of this small campsite were very friendly and we were made to feel very welcome. I love their environmental ethos with their ecoloos (took a little getting used to, although they also have normal toilets) and their recycling etc. It was lovely to see and hear the young lambs and to be able to take part in bottle feeding them. overall a thoroughly enjoyable break Disliked: I can't really say I disliked anything, the only slight niggle is that there are no facilities to pay by card, everything has to be in cash, but apart from that it was great. |
