Liked: Not a very big site, I think it has caravans to hire too. A well kept toilet and shower block. I didn't use the shower but it uses tokens.
Has a shop that is small but well stocked.
The owner is lovely, and couldn't be more helpful.
A lovely site and we've already been back for an overnight site.

Disliked: It's very close to a busy main road, but I have to say this didn't bother us at all, so it's not really a dislike, more of a warning!

Liked: There was so much to like about this campsite - the proximity to Whitstable, the friendly welcome, the well laid out plots - but overwhelmingly the best thing about this campsite are the facilities. Really modern and super clean - they more than passed muster.

Disliked: The road - this site overlooks the main road connecting Herne Bay and Whitstable to the M2. Consequently it was a little noisey but it teally didn't bother us. If you are looking for a peaceful rural campsite where you can 'get back to nature', this is not the one for you. However, if you are looking for a cheap option to spend a few days enjoying all that Whitstable has to offer - it is ...

Liked: Location, 20 minute walk by road to town, uphill return though. Half hour walk by Crab and Winkle way, worth the extra as a much more pleasant walk. Tescos next door is handy. Brian the owner very helpful, site well kept and facilities very clean.

Disliked: Tokens for showers at 20p each, needed 2 as the first one was used by the time the water got hot. Also inits began to be pitched to close to each other as the site filled. The motor home next to ours was about 5 metres away but on the last day one was put between us. Bit pricey compared to others we've visited.

Liked: We loved this site. Just wanted an inexpensive place to stay at short notice, have been watching the weather and this enabled us to leave it till the last minute.
Lovely kept lawns, flower borders, toilet block immaculate. Didn't use on site showers as had own in tourer but believe they took tokens - very clean though. Brian, the owner, was very friendly and helped tow our caravan onto the site with his lovely red ...

Disliked: Road noise on the first night but by the second and third I didn't hear/notice it. Suspect all that fresh air helped me sleep!
