Pondwell Campsite occupies a peaceful countryside setting, yet still within walking distance of the beach. Our campsite provides an ideal getaway for couples and families. The park covers an area of around 14 acres of level and gently sloping ground.

There is plenty of open space for relaxing and recreation, along with our fabulous Wishing Well public house which offers traditionally cooked British cuisine (lunch and dinner) in a family friendly setting.

Our facilities include:
- Toilets, showers, bathrooms, baby baths (free hot water)
- Launderette and chemical disposal unit
- Washing-up facilities
- Children's play area, television rooms and a well stocked shop with food, toys, games, and camping and calor gas
- No charge for ironing, pup tent, awnings or car parking next to tents/caravans
- A 24-hour security officer on hand for late arrivals

Pitches and hook-ups should be vacated by 12 noon on the day of departure.

Tatty and a bit bleak at this time of year (April)

Liked: Wishing Well pub was pleasant, with good menu and nice food, however outside was very tatty looking when we were there (it was early in season though, so hopefully this would get better later in year!)

Disliked: overall layout of campsite was quite sloping. Toilets were adequate, but not overly clean. Didn't like the close vicinity of huts and cabins - felt a bit oppressive. Close to a bird sanctuary, which could be a plus or minus depending on whether you don't mind early morning wakeup from geese!

Liked: the clean and tidy site and the stunning views;
the facilities for children;
the clean toilets, bathrooms and washing up points;
the very friendly, helpful and flexible staff;
the many stand pipes on site;

Disliked: the fact that the showers were at the other end of the site, need one at either end much lie you do with the toilet blocks;k
