Tiddly-om-pom-pom along the prom as you admire the golden sands of St. Helens beach, a mere hop and a skip away from your tent at Nodes Point Holiday Park.
On top of a fulsome complement of basic amenities, campers at this Park Resorts site get free access to the pool, water slides and sports complex, which offer everything from hydrodomes and bodyboarding to basketball and archery. There are kids’ clubs for various age groups and the site’s Showbar offers a decent programme of evening entertainment, too. Mealtimes at the Harbour Bar and Diner come with a side order of arresting views down to the bay.
Nearby attractions and activities
With the lovely St. Helens beach within strolling distance, visitors would be forgiven for staying close to home; however, other wonderful Blue Flag beaches such as Sandown are but a short drive away (and dinosaur fans will enjoy the animatronics in the pterodactyl-shaped Dinosaur Isle museum here, too).
The carnival town of Ryde, with its pier and marina, is only three miles from Nodes Point, and the bustling neighbouring village of Bembridge has a pretty harbour and some great pubs and restaurants, as well as the only windmill remaining on the island.
Fakenham Farm offers the usual farmyard friends, plus a smattering of more exotic species. Visitors will be chuffed with the views offered by the magnificent machines of the Isle of Wight Steam Railway, which stages many special events in season and also hosts a falconry display.

Fantasitc time! Beaches clean and had lots for families with young children to do Lucas D. (Family with young children, 1 review, 0 photos) Confirmed ?
Liked: Big tent pitches and able to put up a shelter also without extra charge. Clean bathrooms and showers. Night time entertainment was good. Great to have a shop and restaurant facilities on site and laundry if needed. Disliked: Night time noise restrictions were not exactly adhered to...we had fireworks going off after 11pm from some neighbor campers who set them off right next to our tent...scared my kids! |

Excellent site. The view over the bay was why we went.Fantastic.. adymoss (Family with older children, 1 review, 0 photos)
Liked: The view of the bay from the tent.Stayed on the sloping pitch for best view and wasn't disappointed.Fairly level anyway.Access to beach was excellent.Pool was fine and clean and was not busy as went in school term. The new toilet block was great.Large warm showers.Could halve the size to add more changing room.Lovely meal in the Harbour bar. Disliked: As previous review, not enough seats in clubroom. Laundrette expensive! |

Very good campsite, fantastic location, the sloped pitches let it down. nancyhainey (Family with older children, 1 review, 1 photo)
Liked: the location. Right next to the beach was fab! Plus it was away from the entertainment centre which was good as noise can be a down side in a tent. Disliked: Most of the pitches were very sloped and as we were on an electric pitch the pitches were too close together - probably in order to have the electric points accessable. |

Absolutely fantastic! teamthornton (With friends, 1 review, 0 photos)
Liked: ...we were greeted warmly, and, even though we did not participate in the provided entertainment, we were made to feel welcome Disliked: ...not a dislike, but I think that the pool times could be reviewed. Opening at 9am meant that I had been up for 2 hours reading, where I could've had a morning swim. Closing the pool at 2pm for private activities and not opening after meant that I could not endure an evening swim. |

Stunning location, every type of camping/ caravanning covered from luxury to budget ljoxford (Family with young children, 1 review, 0 photos)
Liked: The stunning scenery. Every where you looked was amazing views. We looked out of windows towards the harbour. The wildlife is stunning, red squirrels, woodpeckers etc all right there. It was a very short stroll to the beach where there was a lovely cafe serving as a good beach cafe during the day, but it closes for half hour at 6pm and then is a more adult atmosphere place serving local seafood. Would love to ... Disliked: The entertainment is ok but drawn out. The shows tend to start early and go on til late. There are never enough seats in the club. |
