Touring and tenting on flat well-drained pitches Nine acres of grassland surrounded by mature trees and graded as a three star park, Forest Edge offers touring and tenting holidays and is complemented by exclusive leisure facilities at Oakdene. Seasonal pitches are available for a minimum stay of 3 months.

Pitches are level, well drained and near to a water point. Each is individually marked, with space for your car, caravan or tent, awning, sun loungers and barbecue. Pitch sizes do vary so please note that you will need to let us know the size of your tourer or tent as many pitches will not take a 7 metre unit. Choose from Standard or Serviced pitches. Please note that gazebos are not permitted.

We also now have caravan holiday homes for hire.

The park is situated just off the A31 and some pitches may experience traffic noise.

There is a shop (seasonal) with off licence, Calor Gas service, telephones, launderette and free showers.

Liked: Play park
Easy access to attractions.

Disliked: We have 2 children one aged 2 and the other was 7. The put in a pitch at the main gate which meant the early morning deliveries for the shop woke us up.
The kids of the park seem to congregate around them at night.
The traffic noise was terrible especially on boundary lane as drivers seem to use it as a race track when coming off the main A road.
The bathrooms were a ...

Dirty and poorly maintained

Liked: The small pool and the on site shop but most of all going home!

Disliked: The dirty smelly toilets and showers, the mud we had as a grass pitch (pitch 55). Lack of maintainance generally, the electric supply that failed every day for most of the day, the fact that the security lighting did not work throughout our stay but most of all having to pay in full £34 per night (peak season) in advance and no chance of refund when complaining to management during our stay.
