Beautiful location and well appointed armstrong_bec (Family with young children, 1 review, 0 photos)
Liked: Beautiful woodland setting, frequently visited by the wild ponies. Disliked: Dissapointed by the lack of helpfulness of staff on this last visit (failed to advise us that the gazebo we booked for was no longer permitted until AFTER we'd spent half hour in the rain pitching it, and were unapologetic about the oversight) , but have been visiting for 10 years and this was the first year we've ever had any problems. |

Great place really, we really liked it. hillshy (Family with young children, 1 review, 0 photos)
Liked: the location was beautful and great as its a stone throw by car from local shops and trn station if that be your choice of travel method. Disliked: Now the ground is talking point! in places it seems to be easy to get tent pegs in the ground but in other places they seem to sink in a bout 2 inchs and then stop dead and no amount of hammering wil drive them home. so be warned! I will go back there it was lovely but not without a kango hammer! |
