Liked: Beautiful woodland setting, frequently visited by the wild ponies.
Proximity to town - despite the relative seclusion of the site, it's only a 10 minute walk into Brockenhurst with several nice pubs.
Onsite facilities - lots of toilets and showers so rarely had to wait.

Disliked: Dissapointed by the lack of helpfulness of staff on this last visit (failed to advise us that the gazebo we booked for was no longer permitted until AFTER we'd spent half hour in the rain pitching it, and were unapologetic about the oversight) , but have been visiting for 10 years and this was the first year we've ever had any problems.

Liked: the location was beautful and great as its a stone throw by car from local shops and trn station if that be your choice of travel method.

Disliked: Now the ground is talking point! in places it seems to be easy to get tent pegs in the ground but in other places they seem to sink in a bout 2 inchs and then stop dead and no amount of hammering wil drive them home. so be warned! I will go back there it was lovely but not without a kango hammer!

Liked: Nice big playing field right next to site
Safe for children to roam
Clean shower facilities
Freindly staff - they recovered a lost, but crucial, teddy
Easy off road cycling to nearest pub

Disliked: Aggressive ponies(really!) on departure day
Hot water disappeared one day
Some pitches get water logged in rain
