Oxford Street, Buckingham Palace, the London Eye - from Lee Valley Camping and Caravan Park you can be taking in all the iconic sights of London in less than an hour.
On the other hand, you can be deep into the 1,000 acre River Lee Country Park or Epping Forest in a matter of minutes. There are also horse riding and ice centres nearby. The overall complex includes an 18-hole golf course, Odeon cinema and an athletics centre – in other words, you won’t be stuck for things to do!
You’ll also find the site has excellent facilities, such as heated toilet blocks, free showers, a shop where you can buy travel cards and a fun adventure playground.

Liked: Very friendly helpful wardens, Showers clean and hot, very quiet site. Odeon Cinema on the doorstep. Easy public transport, bus from entrance to Edmonton Green Station from ther into town and the underground, maximum 1 hour from site to Oxford Circus, we did it in 40 minutes with lucky connections. Disliked: Showers a bit cramped with only 1 hook for clothes, a bin would help. The site is surrounded by a Golf course with a 2 rail fenc seperating them on 1 side, the golf course is accessible to anyone hence so is the site, with no CCTV it is not very secure. We know to our cost as both our bikes were stolen from the bike carrier whilst on site, we were on pitch 1 ... |
