Set on the banks of the River Wyre overlooking the beautiful Trough of Bowland, Claylands has been owned by the same family for over 50 years who have created a landscape masterpiece and won numerous awards.
With over 5,000 indigenous trees and with careful development, Claylands Park is a natural haven for squirrels, foxes, deer, rabbits and 85 different species of bird life.
The Stepping Stones Riverside Bar is open Tuesday to Sunday inclusive from midday and the restaurant offers a wide choice of delicious home cooked food, sourced from local suppliers, to eat in or take away.
There is a free modern shower and toilet block to use and a laundry room consisting of coin-operated commercial washers and driers - we have two of each - and washing-up facilities are open 24 hours a day. Drinking water and waste water disposal points are placed around the park.
We have four fishing ponds stocked with roach, carp and trench. There is a charge of £6 per person per day to fish, a licence (available from the Post Office) is required as well as your own fishing equipment.
Other facilities include a children's play area and onsite shop for those basic essentials.
