Set on the banks of the River Wyre overlooking the beautiful Trough of Bowland. It has been owned by the same family for over 50 years who have created a landscape masterpiece and won numerous awards including the David Bellamy Gold Conservation Award.
Planting over 5,000 indigenous trees, with careful development Claylands Park is a natural haven for squirrels, foxes, deer, rabbits and 85 different species of bird life.
Each touring pitch has its own hard standing base & shaled awning area, plus a luscious lawned area to extend your living space if required.
The Stepping Stones Riverside Bar is open Tues - Sun from midday and the restaurant offers a wide choice of delicious home cooked food, sourced from local suppliers, to eat in or take away.
There is a modern, free shower and toilet block and laundry room consisting of two each coin-operated commercial washers and driers and washing up facilities are open 24 hours a day. Drinking water and waste water disposal points are placed around the park.
Other facilities on the park include four fishing ponds, a children's play area and onsite shop for those basic essentials.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead at all times and dog fouling must be picked up.
