A friendly site, Hollins Farm lies in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty between two of North Lancashire’s most picturesque coastal villages, Silverdale and Arnside.
With chickens clucking around and goats bleating in the field, it truly is a place to get away from it all. You can walk for miles along the coast, enjoying the dramatic views of Morecambe Bay with the towering mountains of the Lake District at the other side.
It is just a 5 minute walk across a field to reach our flagship Middlebarrow park, where you are welcome to use our leisure facilities, bar and restaurant. A 20 minute walk takes you to the nearest pub, or you can carry on for 10 more minutes to reach Silverdale where there are more pubs, village shops and a restaurant. Silverdale also has the RSPB’s Leighton Moss, home to some of the UK’s rarest birds, including the elusive Bittern.

Directions
Exit the M6 at Junction 35 and take the A601 for Carnforth. In 1 mile turn left at roundabout (35A) for Carnforth (Truckhaven on left, Pine Lake on right).
In 1 mile turn right at traffic lights in centre of Carnforth, signposted Silverdale. In 1 mile turn sharp left into Sands Lane, signposted Silverdale.
In 2.4 miles go over an automatic level crossing, continue for 0.3 miles to 'T' Junction.
Turn right following 'Holgates' signpost.
In 1 mile bear left following 'Holgates' and 'Silverdale' signposts (by bus shelter / phone box).
In 0.5 mile turn right into Cove Road following 'Holgates' signpost.
In 0.9 mile turn left into Hollins Farm (2nd lane on the left after Holgates).
