Cool camping at its best!

At 4 Winds Lakeland Tipis, we try to recreate the feel of a traditional American Indian tipi. We have colourful rugs and mats on the floor, attractive candle lanterns which at night cast a soft magical glow of patterns on the canvas. We provide a robust table and bench set for outside dining. There are a variety of books to read and games for the children.

We provide each tipi with a book about Native American Indian culture for you to read during your stay. The tipi comes fully equipped to may your stay as simple as possible - just bring your bedding and towels. There is lake access from the site where you can launch small boats, canoes or dinghies and paddle or swim. The site is a haven for wildlife and we have deer, heron, kingfisher, rabbits and the hooting of the owls will gently soothe you to a restful sleep.

Liked: What a site and the tipis are great, fully equipped with everything you need. We took our family of three children aged 9, 7 and 3 and they all loved every minute of it and I cried when we left, we will definitely go back.

Disliked: Nothing at all!
