New Farm

Favourite
From £23 (for 1 night, 2 adults)   Why not enter some details and get an accurate price?

It’s comfort for the big boys and girls at the adults-only New Farm, where you can roll up in your caravan or motorhome and get away from it all in the Cheshire countryside. Dogs will have a top holiday too, as the park is dog-friendly and has plenty of country lanes and fields nearby to have a sniff at. There’s a gravel road to all areas of the site.

There’ll be no problems with bringing along the laptop too for those late-night motorhome movies, as both the hardstanding and grass pitches here come with 16-amp electric hookup and there’s wifi available on some pitches for a small charge – just mention in the special requests when booking that you want net access and you can surf to your heart’s content. Other amenities include a clean and heated toilet and shower block, and there’s CCTV and a fob-key entry barrier on site too, so you can rest easy knowing you’re as safe as tin houses.

Anglers and nature spotters will be kept happy with three fishing lakes next to the park which attract lots of local wildlife, and if you want to buy some salad to go with your catch there are several convenience stores and a supermarket within a quick drive. Can’t be bothered cooking? No problem – there are two pubs within an easy amble of the park, both serving the best of British pub grub.

There are several little villages around the area to explore such as Bunbury, Tarpoley and Tattenhall, or you could hit the town for the night in Chester or Nantwich.

Chester, with its weeks’ worth of things to do, is a short drive from the park and includes the famous Chester Zoo with over 8000 animals and 400 species to see, and if you’re on a wildlife kick the Blue Planet Aquarium and Knowsley Safari Park are also nearby.
