Lythe Caravan and Camping park opened June 2012. Situated 4 miles from Whitby on the A174, it has spectacular sea views, which on a good day are for over 27 miles! There are 20 Caravan pitches, 3 Camping Pods and availability for up to 10 tents. The shower block is new.
The site is behind The Stiddy Public House where quality beer and home made food is the norm. The village store is about 250 Metres from the site which sells most things required for a holiday.
There is a public bus service outside the footpath entrance to the site with the bus going direct to the Centre of Whitby or lovely villages on its route towards Teesside.
You can walk on green lanes straight from the site or drive to the beautiful village on the historic Coast or Moors.
Whilst we cannot guarantee wall to wall sunshine we can offer a friendly site, with spectacular views, tasty food at The Stiddy and a warm welcome.

The site is located at the Whitby end of the Village. with entrance next door to the Fire Station.
Post Code YO21 3RT relates to a lot of the village.
From Whitby, it is on the right next to Fire Station which is the second building on the right as you enter the village.
From the West, look out for the Village Store on the right, start to indicate left. Go past the Stiddy Pub on the left and turn left into the site after a further 3 buildings.
The site is marked with a White Name Board.
We are also on the Arriva Bus X5 route which will drop you right outside the site at The Stiddy.
Why not use the bus to get to Whitby? Saves parking in the busy town centre. Also use the bus to go to the beaches or for a destination form where to walk back from.
