Our campsite and bunkhouses are situated in the beautiful Three Peaks area of the Yorkshire Dales National Park and immediately adjacent to the Forest of Bowland Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The site is ideal for exploring both!

The camping areas at Dalesbridge provide plenty of space are flat, stone free and extremely well drained. An all weather option are the warm en-suite bunkhouses. There are stunning views of the surrounding hills and countryside from all areas and it is possible to go walking and cycling direct from the campsite at reception we can help with suggested routes, etc.

Ample showers and toilets, indoor wash up facilities and chemical toilet disposal point are provided, all with ample free hot water. Reception provides information on local attractions and things to do as well as a small shop and internet access. A bar is available most weekends in season although this can sometimes be hired out for sole use by large groups.

Dalesbridge welcomes well behaved groups, organisation and events - there is however a noise curfew at 11pm. Campers are free to bring barbecues, with large barbecues available free of charge when the fuel is bought from us.

Liked: On a short stay just before August Bank Holiday large camping field to rear only had a few campers so lots of space to find a quiet pitch. Quiet at night in absence of any large groups. Didn't have to queue for unisex shower/sink/basin combos, and seemed to be plenty of hot water
Friendly staff and all in all would go again.
Didn't really have time to try facilities but lots ...

Disliked: Not much really on a short stay.
Could do with a few more hooks in showers etc to keep clothing off wet floors - and esp if things get wet when grass and mud gets trailed in. But that's a minor grumble really.

While in rear field noise from road is not noticeable during day, on a still night it can appear much louder and starts early as it's the main link road from ...

Liked: The location as it was right near the route to Gisburn forest was perfect for us. Nice friendly and helpful staff. Everything you need for a weekend getaway! Really enjoyed our stay. Beautiful views from the campsite as well.

Disliked: The big spiders in the toilet/showers! But that's the outdoors for ya!

Liked: Was a very good site, well maintained with nice staff - Toilets/showers cleaned daily and were adequate with lots of hot water.
Pitch sizes were more than ample. Overall i'd recommend.

Disliked: Nothing the site/staff could do about it, but the weather. Good old britain, rain on a bank holiday. Could benefit from some kids play equipment though, however, lots of room for them to run around in.

From the manager...

Unfortunately the weather had been totally against us this summer - what summer! We can only cut the grass when it is dry and we have just not been able to get onto it to cut nearly as often as we would have liked. Our camp fields have historically been very well drained but they have just not been able to cope of late - sorry!

Liked: staff were really helpful especially when my dog was ill.
plenty of toilets/showers dated but kept clean everyday despite the very wet weather.
fantastic about dogs on site and in bar.
local pub, 15min walk, game cock is brilliant for food but you really need to book, so busy!
location for yorkshire dales and lake district is fantastic. right on the a65.

Disliked: the main field was very wet at one end and i got my vehicle stuck but i don't think alot could be done about this as i think the unusually high amount of rain we have had and continue to have this summer the problem is everywhere!
is located close to a65 so road noise in early hours can be heard nothing ear plugs doesn't solve.

Liked: The location is excellent for both North Yorkshire, Cumbria and the lakes. I had two dogs with me and there was no complaint.
Some of the fields were walled and very private. Excellent site.

Disliked: The toilets and showers could do with modernisation but it's only nit picking.

Fabulous site in lovely location

Liked: We booked as a group of classic VW campervans for a Hallowe'en party weekend and thought the site was fantastic. We had a lovely flat area to pitch which was handy to all the amenities.

The location was absolutely brilliant - that part of the Dales is so beautiful and there are so many things to do - walking, caving, cycling and sightseeing are just the tip of the iceberg.

Disliked: The rain but they couldn't do anything about that!

Liked: i liked the peace and the open countryside. there weren't too many other campers but enough to not feel isolated. the welcome was very good as was the helpful advice. the facilities were clean, and cleaned regularly.
a good base for exploring the surrounding area, and a good place to come back to after a busy day.

Disliked: i didn't dislike anything.
