See all facilities…Crowtrees Park is set in 50 acres over looking the Yorkshire Dales National Park, and has been carefully developed and landscaped. The park provides a delightful rural setting with areas of open grassland and mature trees.
The traditional Crowtrees Inn was an original 17th century farmhouse. It is a favourite drinking and dining place for residents and holiday people alike. Bar snacks are available together with meals in the restaurant. The Saturday evening live entertainment also proves popular amongst guests (peak season only).
Our indoor swimming pool offers relief from the hot summer sun or relaxing exercise on cooler days. A children's games room and purpose-built adventure playground are ideal for younger members of the family. To make life easier for you, there's a well-stocked shop and a launderette.
Nearby attractions and activities
Away from the peace and quiet of the park itself, the more active can take advantage of an abundance of outdoor activities and sports - pony trekking, golf, caving, or trout fishing in the attractive Stocks Reservoir. Within walking distance you can enjoy the nature trails and cycle ways of Gisburn Forest.
Explore the spectacular walking and hill-climbing country of the Yorkshire Dales and Bowland Fells, providing a wealth of sight-seeing opportunities for you and your family to enjoy - White Scar Caves, Settle-Carlisle Railway and the famous Ribblehead Viaduct, TV locations of Emmerdale, last of the Summer Wine and Herriot Country, Yorkshire Dales Falconry Centre, Malham Cove and Tarn, Bolton Abbey Estate, the Three Peaks, to name but a few.
For those who prefer simply browsing through craft and gift shops, the historic market towns of Settle, Clitheroe and Skipton, are all within easy driving distance.
Visiting further a field, from the magnificent landscape of the Lake District, to the bright lights of Blackpool and Morecambe, from the striking scenery of the North Yorkshire Moors to the dramatic history of Lancaster and York - whatever your interest, it's all within easy reach of our park.
