Looking forward to returning :) JulieP (Family with older children, 1 review, 2 photos)
Liked: Genuinely 5* facilities. Plenty of toilets/showers/sinks etc, hairdryers & spare sockets - All regularly cleaned (Always some that leave a mess but staff seem to do their best), plus family & disabled bathrooms. On site shop, chippy (Om nom nom), pool, Launderette, Pot wash, Bins regularly emptied etc, Fab little pub/pool tables/live music etc, park, dog field, Over flow field, Direct access to clifftop walk, stunning views both ways :) Bus stop, service station & pub ... Disliked: Not a dislike as such but sometimes frustrating that other campers didn't observe the general rule of 1) pick up after yourself & 2) bear in mind noise travels after 11pm at night. Saying that - a lot of visitors seemed to be large groups of friends/family who made up their own pitches with theirs own tents/windbreaks etc, especially as it was August & they obviously enjoyed their holidays! |

Liked: The views were stunning, the staff were really friendly, the pitch was great, on a really well planned site. The facilities couldnt have been better, showers, lots of loos, family shower rooms, laundrette, bar, chippy, pool, playground and pot wash. Overall excellent! Disliked: Had to think really hard for any downs on this!! The shower timers a bit short and the drinking water point is next to the bins which was a bit weird!! Oh and my daughter thought the little amusement arcade wasnt very good. |

Liked: We had a flat car battery at one point, which a very friendly maintenance man from the site helped us with jump starting. Disliked: The weather, as first time campers being right next to the shore was an experience. We were given the option of re-pitching our tent behind reception which was fantastic. |

A Well Run Campsite bunker13 (Extended family, 1 review, 0 photos)
Liked: The pitches were great, unlimited space for non electric and neighbours were friendly. Disliked: Be wary where you pitch up as if you wat a good view the price to pay is a frequent strong wind. My advice is, if you can pitch up way from the cliff as the wind gets really strong. |

Liked: The dog park is brilliant. The site is close to all the beaches and there is a big car boot on every sunday which is in walking distance. The shops on the site sell everything you need. Try the fish and chip shop! Disliked: The toilet block needs cleaning more frequently ( not very nice) if you have a touring caravan there isn't much room when you have neighbours. The pitches are very small. |

weekend get away with friends Thomas O. (With friends, 1 review, 0 photos) Confirmed ?
Liked: The entertainment in the evenings. Disliked: The fact that you have to pay to get into the pool, although its cheaps I feel it should be included in the price of the site.
From the manager...
Thank you for your great review. We decided a long time ago that the people who use the pool should pay for it, as it is unfair to charge everybody in site fees for something they may not use. We do feel that £2.00 per person for a full day pass allowing unlimited access is very reasonable. |

nothing wrong with the site but not for us suzanne s. (Family with young children, 1 review, 0 photos) Confirmed ?
Liked: how near the toilet block was to the pitches, Disliked: used to a quieter site, bit noisy at night, alot of families with older kids so didn't quieten down at night.
From the manager...
Thank you for your review. I'm sorry that we did not turn out to be the park that you were looking for, we are a family park however i would not say we are a quiet country park. Please see Jasmine Park if that is what you are looking for. During your stay the toilets were cleaned and checked several times per day, however in between these checks some people do occasionally treat the toilet blocks in a manner which we both find unacceptable. We do our best to clean up in a timely manner in such an occasion. |

Liked: prices in the shop. park clean and friendley Disliked: dog poo outside the ladies
From the manager...
Thank you for taking the time to leave a review, i am pleased that in general you enjoyed your stay at the park. I agree that it is not nice that an irresponsible dog owner did not pick up after their dog, thank you for doing this on their behalf, i assure you that had a member of our staff seen it they would have also picked it up. The childrens disco starts at 8pm, this is earlier than the rest of our evening entertainment which starts at 9pm. Due to the opening hours of the bar it is difficult for this to begin any earlier. We do have the swimming pool, games room, an adventure and childrens play area on the park. We believe that the range and size of facilities available is suitable for a park of our size. We are not, and do not want to be an all singing and dancing Haven style park. |

Liked: I liked that we didn't have to pay extra to shower and even had plug socket and hair dryer for free Disliked: No dislikes but could do with a freezer to freeze cool block for cool bag.

Our own experiences of The Crows Nest Caravan Site Schosh (Family with older children, 1 review, 0 photos)
Liked: Being in our own caravan. Rated low as a 10 would falsely increase the site rating. Disliked: Poor customer service,
From the manager...
We are sorry you did not enjoy your time at the park, however i would like to comment on the negative aspects of your review: Our poor customer service and incorrect site charges are down to the customer booking the incorrect nights. On finding out this, we managed to move other bookings around so the customer did not have to leave. This of course was all our fault, despite showing the customer the dates they had booked and a copy of the receipt, and yes we had the audacity to charge the customer for the night they had not paid for. The customer then accused us of not sending confirmation emails, which we do to all customers. I can confirm that the email was sent on 16/07/2012 at 12.20pm. Our toilet and shower facilities are cleaned 3 times per day and checked regularly, we have had no other complaints about this nor has it been mentioned in any other reviews. I do admit that we do not have plastic recycling facilities. We do have glass recycling and all cardboard deliveries in the park supermarket are recycled. However until our local council review their recycling charges, it does not make it feasible to recycle all waste. Why this would affect the enjoyment of a holiday at our park i am not sure. |
