Fantastic site, great location, not enough wash facilities for peak times .... go off peak!

Liked: If you don't want electricity on your pitch you can pitch where you want, when we were there (week before half term) there was only one other caravan on site.

The site is on the river and you can buy fishing permits on site, sit glass in hand in the evening and watch the wildlife from outside your tent. Very quiet in the week (off peak) and it is a beautifully kept site, very ...

Disliked: Not enough wash facilities for the peak times - the site is VERY popular with canoeists and they start rolling up Friday afternoon - soon you cannot stick a pin for splash decks and snub nosed wotsits!
However we stayed on for a a few days and although we were definitely hemmed it did not spoil our holiday - my advice is go off peak and enjoy a fantastic stay.
