Liked: This is our 4th visit to the Woodpecker Pods, and it was just as good as the all of the other visits. Fiona is amazing at what she does! The Pods are clean, warm and cosy. They have separate toilets and showers for each pod and they are also warm and very clean. In front of the Pods is a field with swings slide and a football net. They are surround by high shrubbery so everything is safe and secluded for younger kids. Each pod has a fire pit (wood can be bought from owner) and each Pod has its own picnic table too. There is also an off road car park. We are looking forward to re-booking our 5th visit for the summer. I beautiful quiet little Glamping gem for your family at an affordable price.

Liked: Thanks for good experience lowly Fiona. The pods is clean, nice picnic aria, clean toilets and shower. Have all you need to for the perfect rest. Very good location for York or York Mors. I'll be definitely recommended it!

Liked: I love that there are only 2 pods, which make it more private as my little one likes to scream a lot and that there is a little play area right next to the pods.this is my second time here

Liked: Rural location and very quiet. Spotlessly clean. Owner available if needed. Large outdoor space for children to play.
Disliked: A local dog that would sit and stare at us. Then stole our food.

Liked: Thought the pod we stayed in was lovely, very clean and tidy. Was in a beautiful spot. Use of facilities was excellent. The bed we slept on was very comfortable even had mattress topper on it to make it softer. Was very quiet allowing a nice peaceful night's sleep. Was greeted by fiona which was nice and the communication prior to booking and during was excellent. Overall I would rate my stay 5 out of 5. Would Highly recommend if you want a relaxing weekend away. Hopefully get the chance to stay again.

Liked: Fantastic little site in an idyllic location and Fiona, the site owner, is lovely. The pods and shower/toilet block were spotlessly clean and a lot of unexpected extras are provided eg if you have forgotten your washing up stuff you will find washing up liquid and an assortment of brushes to tide you over and there is a whirlygig for drying towels on after a shower. There is also a lovely play area for children. The pods are all provided with one-cup kettles and four mugs and the mattresses all have protectors on them. The pods are also lovely and warm although we did have the little heaters (provided) on a low setting overnight because it always gets cold in the small hours of the morning. The site is small - only 3 pods when we visited in May - and when we went we were lucky enough to have the whole place to ourselves. When planning days out you will need to take your car because the site is right out in the country and you will need a car to get anywhere. Woodpecker is a really lovely place to stay, highly recommended.
