We have have a mixture of glamping accommodation: hobbit pods, safari tents, bell tents and tipis, set within a beautiful 250-acre heritage estate with a host of onsite activities available including quad biking, water zorbing, segways, clay pigeon shooting, aerial rope courses plus much more!

Cancellation policy

Should you need to cancel or re-schedule your holiday you must notify us at the earliest convenience by email.

Cancellations up to 14 days prior to arrival date will be refunded the full amount.

Cancellations between 14 days and up to 11:00am two days prior to arrival will lose 30 % of the booking fee.

Cancellations after 11:00am two days prior to arrival will be charged full amount of the booking fee.

Payment of balance

Once your booking is completed through Pitch Up an invoice will be sent from Camp Katur within 14 days requesting full payment, late bookings will be sent an invoice for full payment within 48 hours of booking completion via Pitch Up.

Payments can be made via Paypal, BACS, Debit or Credit Card. Please note there is a 2% charge for credit card payments over the phone.

Terms and conditions

Respect and enjoyment

Please enjoy the beautiful countryside of The Camp Hill Estate and respect the landscape, trees and animals by not littering, causing damage or causing any distress to any animals on the site.

Cars and parking

Driving on the site should be slow - 5mph. Vehicle movement will be restricted around the site once checked in. Anyone driving dangerously on the site and not abiding by the speed limit will be asked to leave the site.

Parking will be available on site in a designated area. A car permit will be issued along with a camping permit if using your own tent on the site. Please ensure they are on display at all times.

Noise

Whilst it is great to have songs and music around the campsite, please refrain from excessive noise such as amplified music between the hours of 10pm – 9am.

Disabled access

Much of the Accommodation is set within woodland which makes it hard to access with a wheelchair. There are no disability camping areas and the disabled toilet is located at the main reception 7 minute walk away.

Disabled car parking is located within the main car parking area.

Access by wheelchair or electric mobility is possible on most of the site. Please note: Camp Kátur is located on grass fields & woodland area and whilst the glamping fields are inspected on a regular basis, uneven surfaces do occur and care should be taken at all times.

Dogs

Dogs are allowed onto the site; however they must be kept on a lead at all times.

A deposit of £20.00 is is required either prior to arrival or on arrival for dog stays in case of any damages. Deposits are refunded on departure should no damages have been caused.

Distressed dogs will be removed by the RSPCA/police from cars and no liability will be accepted for any damage caused. For reasons of hygiene and health, please do not allow dogs to foul areas around trade stands or other public places.

Campfires

Campfires are allowed in designated areas which are clearly marked using the provided fire baskets. Please refrain from burning paper, plastics or wood that is not supplied by Camp Katur. Foraging for burning wood within the surrounding areas is prohibited.

Sky lanterns are banned from the site as they are a major fire risk and endanger local livestock.

Security

Security staff will patrol the site. Please report any security concerns to the site security officer or a member of staff.

Catering

Onsite catering facilities are available at the Orangery Cafe.

Pitches

Please be considerate when pitching your tent. The site will be marked to denote camping lanes and fire corridors. Please pitch your tent/caravan/campervan either side of the clearly marked camping lanes

Showers and Toilets

Hot showers and toilets are available on the site, Hot showers are available in the main building.

Water

There will be a drinking water point on the site.

Power 

There are no power points available in the glamping/camping area. Solar-powered lighting will be provided around the eco toilet blocks. Please bring a torch!

Waste disposal

Please use the bins provided. The site is a public area that has grazing cattle and litter/waste poses a hazard to livestock and wildlife.

Drugs

Illegal substances are not permitted within the site. If you are found in possession of illegal substances you will be asked to leave the site and the police may become involved.

Please note that the site management has the right to refuse entry to the site on the grounds of unruly behaviour or apparent severe intoxication.

Children

Do not leave children (aged under 16) unattended on the site.

We reserve the right to ask those who do not comply with these requirements to leave the site.

Medical services

There will be first aid trained staff on site during the daytime, they will be within the Camp Hill offices. However we do not keep prescription medication so you should bring your own if it is required.
