See all facilities…Cowclose Woodland is a basic campsite set in the beautiful setting of a woodland nature reserve in the Derwent valley, County Durham.
We provide composting toilets but no shower block, and free parking is available 1km away - so unless you have 4x4 access, be prepared to travel light!
We have on-site wood fired pizza ovens, barbecue grills and controlled fire incinerators for you to keep warm, cook and entertain you for the night.
